Getting Started Guide
Set up your workspace, learn the basic flow, and ship your first images with Nano Banana Pro 2.
Welcome
This guide walks you through the essentials: where to write prompts, how generation works, and how to download results. It mirrors the workflow you would use on a gallery-first AI image product — optimized for Nano Banana Pro 2 (fast generation, sharp detail, up to 4K).
Before you generate
- Sign in so generations, history, and credits stay tied to your account.
- Pick a model / mode that matches your task (text-to-image, edit, or multi-reference) — the UI labels these clearly.
- Choose aspect ratio and quality early; changing them later usually means regenerating.
The three-step loop
1. Describe the scene
Write a short paragraph or a tight list: subject, environment, camera, lighting, mood, and any text you need on the image. Specific beats vague — compare "a portrait" with "35mm film portrait, window light, shallow depth of field, neutral background".
2. Generate and review
Run generation and scan for anatomy, hands, typography, and brand-safe details. Use variations or small prompt edits instead of rewriting from scratch when you are close.
3. Export
Download PNG, JPEG, or WebP at the resolution you need. For print or cropping, prefer higher resolution and minimal compression.
